Youth Arrested For Marijuana Possession
District Attorney Urban J. Zievr issued a warrant charging Richard William Engdahl, 20, Racine, with possession of marijuana. Det. Lt. Arthur J. Riley and Det. Franklin Hill arrested him at a local rooming house Saturday afternoon. 40 cigarets and an envelope with an ounce were found. Engdahl admitted use since February and said the marijuana came from a field west of Highway 42 between Racine and Kenosha last summer. A federal agent assisted. the case marks the first marijuana arrest here since January 1946.
