Mrs. Ragnhild Congdon ends two year term and passes the gavel to Mrs. A. C. McHenry at a Quota Club installation dinner at the Elks Club. Miss Peggy Geddes reads the ceremony as officers take duties amid music and celebratory gifts.
The group will not meet this week and reschedules a meeting for Thursday May 28 at 8 p.m. at Gerbs Hall.
Parents and teachers gathered in the Washington Junior High School auditorium for the May PTA meeting. The senior choir directed by Velma MacMillan performed before officers were installed, including John Haines as president and Lloyd Phillips as first vice president.

Mrs Hanson honored as a Gold Star Mother by the Mothers of World War II Unit II at a Monday meeting. Charter members and past presidents were recognized. pins given for hours of hospital work. Group reports membership at 87. graveside decoration planned May 28 at Library Park. convention delegates named for June 1921 in Waukesha.
State Purple Heart Auxiliary elected officers Tuesday at the Courthouse with Mrs. Harold Bain as president. Others include Edward Pepke as senior vice president Agnes Blatzere as junior vice president William Naekrsz as secretary and A H Yor as treasurer.
Lincoln Branch Library hosts story hour Thursday afternoon at 3 30 for first through fourth graders.
Three of the Women's Fellowship Circles at First Christian Church meet to study The Christian Home. Lydia and Ruth Circle led by Mrs. Burell Sparks and Miss Imogene Dunton host devotions at 116 73rd St. Priscilla Circle gathers 8432 19th Ave with Mrs. Warren Letsom guiding devotions and Mrs. Phillip Brunner presenting the lesson. Deborah Circle meets 7 30 p m at 7416 12th Ave with Mrs. Al Morley hosting and leading.
