Newcomers Club Showcases Spring Millinery Styles
The Newcomers' Club viewed about 150 hats by Lepp and Co at a Tuesday meeting at the Woman's Club. Styles ranged from veiling wisps to wide brimmed fruit and flower hats. Members displayed hats include Miss Arlene Mitchell and Mrs Franklin Hudson.

They approved sending a gift to Camp American Legion in Tomahawk Wisconsin for a new therapy building and mailing the local newspaper to Kenosha men at the Wood Wisconsin veterans hospital. Hostesses were Mrs Clarence Anderson and Mrs Charles Lubich.

Church of God to Dedicate New Building in Milwaukee Street Address
First Church of God will dedicate its newly acquired church home Sunday at 3 p.m. Rev. Ralph Hatch of Milwaukee will be guest speaker, preaching at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Sunday School starts 2:30 p.m. A fellowship and lunch at 5 p.m. follows in the parish hall. The congregation purchased the building at 2011 52nd St from Evangelical United Brethren.

Gemmell and Heikkinen Tie Knot in Pearl Harbor Service

Youth Rally Hosted by Wyrtzen at Baptist Tabernacle
Jack Wyrtzen director of a coast to coast youth broadcast will lead a youth rally Sunday at 7 p.m. at the Baptist Tabernacle located at 24th Ave and 63rd St. He previously hosted the ABC TV program Longtime and directs three Word of Life camps at Schroon Lake New York drawing about 13 000 registrants from around the world each summer including Buddhists Hindus and Muslims.
