Yvette Madsen of Brooklyn was convicted of murdering her air force husband Lt. Andrew Madsen in a Frankfurt home on Oct 20. A three judge U S high commission court sentenced her to 15 years to be served at a women’s reformatory in Anderson West Virginia or another approved location. The court rejected a temporary insanity defense, citing mental unbalance per a German psychiatrist. Gower plans an appeal to the U S high commission appeals court at Nuernberg.
