Glimpses Into Lives of Composers At Schubert Club
Members of the Schubert Club heard papers on Franz Schubert and Robert Schumann at a Woman's Club meeting. Mrs. Mandel Goldstein described Schubert and a musical program featuring Mrs. Ragnhild Congdon, Mrs. Charlotte Grinder, Mrs. Stephen Stein, and Mrs. Angelo Vaccarello. The session noted Schubert's poverty despite prolific output and Schumann's shift from piano performance to composition amid illness. A Junior Festival in Kenosha April 15 was announced by president Mrs. Stig Wiren, with festival chairs named.

Isabellas to Serve Public Spaghetti Supper
Daughters of Isabella members hosted a potluck before their meeting at the Knights of Columbus hall.
