Coleman Demands Wiley Withdraw Charge Over Record

Weather outlook for Kenosha with clouds and storms

Skies remain clear tonight in Kenosha with tomorrow turning cloudy and warm and possible evening thunderstorms. High yesterday at the sewage plant was 84 and a low of 58 early today, with temperatures at the plant 75 this morning, 72 by noon, and readings downtown from 71 to 73 as the sun rose at 4 28 a.m. and set at 7 25 p.m.

State Traffic Kills 2 More in Wisconsin Highway Toll Rise

Wisconsin's 1956 highway death toll reached 483 compared with 395 on the same date in 1955. Two men died Friday night in a collision on a Brown County highway one mile north of Lark. Victims were Edward F. Ostrenga 25 of rural Luxemburg and Barney Rhode 53 of Milwaukee. Mrs. Rhode was listed in serious condition at a Green Bay hospital.

Cross Burnings Target Warren and Other Officials in Maryland

Police hunt youths who lit flaming crosses before the homes of Chief Justice Earl Warren and other top officials in Maryland. Crosses were found at Warren, Sen. Lehman, Justice Felix Frankfurter, and Solicitor General Simon Sobeloff with signs attacking school integration. Investigators suggest pranksters rather than Klan involvement, with possible charges including arson or trespassing. The FBI may pursue federal intimidation charges.

Operation Skywatch marks four years of civilian defense with the Ground Observer Corps in Wisconsin since 1952. Anti-Red Hungarians Seize Airliner Over Hungary to West Germany

A group of seven anti Communist Hungarians seized a DC3 airliner en route from Budapest to Szombathely, forced loops, injured twelve, and landed at U.S. air field near Ingolstadt. The rebels sought asylum in West Germany while police surrounded the damaged craft.

Tito and Nasser Prepare for Talks with Nehru in Belgrade

Tito and Nasser plan to discuss the Middle East and other topics with Prime Minister Nehru during next week's conference. The three power talks start July 19 at Brioni. Nehru is in West Germany. Nasser arrived in Belgrade for an eight day visit.

Atty Gen Vernon Thomson asks ICC to rescind two day unload rule

Vernon Thomson filed a brief with the Interstate Commerce Commission asking to rescind an order that gives shippers using Great Lakes ports only two days to unload railroad freight cars without storage charges. The brief notes ocean port shipments still enjoy six days of free time before storage fees apply.
