Leon ard Bacon aged 30 saved his two year old son Leonard Jr from a fire in the family trailer on the outskirts of Fond du Lac Wisconsin. He smashed a window and pulled the child to safety while suffering burns to his face hands and legs. The child’s feet were blistered and Mrs Bacon severed an artery in her wrist. The trailer interior was gutted.
