New Five Member Public Service Commission Proposal
Wisconsin assembly members Kendzierski and Molinaro introduced a bill to abolish the current three man Public Service Commission and substitute a five member body with one representative from the public farming small business industry and labor. The governor would appoint with senate confirmation for six year staggered terms. Initial appointments would occur upon passage with labor and industry serving until 1951, farm and small business until 1953 and public until 1955.

War Veteran Mike T Lemesus Arrives in Kenosha
The body of T/5 Mike T. Lemesus arrived in Kenosha with a Chicago escort. He died March 31, 1945 in Germany when his gasoline truck collided with a stalled fuel truck and caught fire. Born October 21, 1924 in Kenosha, he was a son of Anton and Nellie Lemesus and served in General Patton's Third Army with the infantry. He attended St. Peter parochial and Kenosha High, worked at Vincent McCall Co. before enlisting, and was active in St. Peter's church the Eagles and St Benedict's society. Survived by father Anton and grandmother Mrs. Anna Grabauskas.
