A Suffolk County grand jury indicted 11 men for involvement in the 1950 Brink's robbery, totaling 148 counts and 10 offenses. Polio Mother Receives $500 Gift in Madison

Madison mother Mrs. Daniel F. Benson, stricken with polio, is believed to be the first woman to bear a child with polio. Her son Daniel, born Oct. 3, also had active polio at birth. he is improving with treatment. Mrs. Benson, after a normal recovery, uses crutches. The gift was presented Friday.

Mississippi Still Hunts Nick Montos

Mississippi police and volunteers pressed a search in near-freezing weather for Nick Montos and companion Robert L. Jones, missing after escaping the state penitentiary. Montos, linked to a $150000 Oscar Zerk home robbery, and Jones, serving a life term for a fellow convict’s murder, were thought to be in thick plantation country about 12 miles west of Parchman. Bloodhounds traced trails and a smoldering camp fire was found in a culvert as a 100-strong posse combed Merigold area. Gov. Hugh White ordered 50 National Guardsmen into the hunt before withdrawing them at night.

Humphrey Demands Eisenhower Address Dulles Brink Policy

Sen. Hubert Humphrey pressed President Eisenhower to disclose whether he shares John Foster Dulles brinkmanship foreign policy. He urged reading a Life Magazine interview in which Dulles claimed the U S averted war thrice by brinkmanship. Layoff Notices To 14 000 Men From Auto Big Three

Bodies of five U S missionaries massacred by Auca tribesmen near Ecuador's jungle plane wreckage were found and buried after rescue teams located the final body in the Cararay River Valley. New York Abortion Death Case Heads to Grand Jury

A grand jury must decide the homicide degree in the abortion death of Jacqueline Smith. Thomas G. Daniel and Leo Pijuan are jailed on homicide charges after her body was allegedly disposed in city trash cans though no remains have been found. Jealous ex-husband implicated in triple murder suicide near Meramec River

Police say James McGraw shot his former wife Carol Hug and Elmer Loring then killed himself after waiting at Hug's home. The bodies were found near Peaceful Valley Lodge about 25 miles southwest of St Louis. Loring and Hug worked at a St Louis printing firm. Hug had divorced McGraw within a year for cruelty.
