Robert H Widen 26 of Kenosha Wisconsin formerly Milwaukee born 1921 died at Wood hospital Wood Wisconsin Thursday of service connected injuries from World War II era service. He served with a machine gun unit during the liberation of the Philippines and was wounded by shrapnel later illnesses followed. Burial Monday at Wood chapel with interment at national cemetery. Survived by widow Helen Kohout a daughter Katherine nine months and four brothers and three sisters.
