Police Doubt Confession in Chicago Slaying Case
A lie detector test showed Herlindo Perez Arias lied about raping and killing a 10 year old girl, but officials warned the result is inconclusive pending further mental evaluations. A North Western 400 passenger train struck a car stopped on Birch Road crossing near Racine, killing James L. Dominguez Jr. and critically injuring Estevan Malacara.
