Two 14 year olds pulled pistol on officers in daybreak robbery
Two armed Racine youths aged 14 attempted a daylight holdup at the 43rd Street Sweet Shop in Kenosha. They fled toward railroad tracks then rode to the Kenosha Motor Coach Lines bus station where police captured them in the basement. One youth drew a loaded gun on Detective John Boswell and Inspector Leo Buchmann during arrest. They admitted several other crimes in Racine and that one carried a Michigan record.
