Wheatland Man Takes Own Life
Ernest C. Jones a 61 year old Wheatland township resident was found dead in his living room from hanging authorities reported. Coroner James A Crossin noted Jones left a note to his wife expressing despondency over ill health and job loss at a cork factory in Trevor. Richard Dietzel discovered the body and alerted sheriff deputies who found the rope device attached to a pole near a front door.

Moody to file unfair labor practices charge against UMW

State Justice Chester Fowler Dies in Madison
