Four Die in Truck and Auto Crash Near Plainwell
Four young men died when a truck and car collided on U.S. 131 a mile north of Plainwell Michigan. The car carried three passengers who were all Negro and the driver. the truck driver Dale Akles of Ovid, on his first Interstate Trucking Co. trip. Witnesses said Akles was trapped under the cab as flames surrounded the wreck.
