Kennewick notices show rentals and ads from Whitelock and Kennewick Harness Shop. Local visitors and residents including Fendler and Mayborne travel, with business on irrigation, framing, and post office matters. The Laird orchard sale and boat arrivals headline a busy week in Kennewick society.
In Franklin County the legislative nomination contest between A. Routhe and T. Giezentanner editor of the Express ended in a tie after the toss of a coin. Giezentanner won the nomination and faces no opposition.
About fifty Spokane business leaders arrived in Kennewick at 5 30 and left around 9. They were greeted by the Kennewick Military Band and local committee led by Geo F Richardson and Mayor L E Johnson. A fruit and field products display and a banquet at Hotel Kennewick followed with speeches praising Kennewick’s prosperity and bright prospects.

An order to show cause in the estate of Ella V. Webster requires interested parties to appear October 21 1908 in Benton County Washington. Publication in Kennewick Courier for four weeks is required.
