Owen Jones, jeweler of North Yakima, completes arrangements to pump water to sixty acres section 2 west of town south of the reservoir. A second reservoir will hold 100000 gallons, fed by a three stage centrifugal pump at 300 gallons a minute from the Columbia River, powered by City Light and Power Company. A six inch pipe will conduct water. work on the reservoir has begun and operation is expected this season.
