Kennewick council passes an ordinance defining police justice duties in town. It requires a docket for all cases under town ordinances, follows state laws on fees, and becomes effective after publication in the Columbia Courier. Mayor Edwin Sheppard approves. Clerk C. O. Anderson signs.
The town council of Kennewick passes an ordinance creating the office of street commissioner with duties to supervise streets alleys roads sidewalks bridges ditches and public grounds and to enforce related ordinances. The town marshal serves ex officio and receives council approved compensation. Also approved is an ordinance prohibiting concealed weapons with penalties.
