We have accepted the agency for White's Rotary Sewing Machine and hold a large stock. The ad highlights durability, ease of operation, and versatility, inviting customers to view the machine and its mechanical adjustments. The message asserts no better machine exists and praises its users as advertisers.
The North Coast railway won authority to condemn a 45 foot strip along the Northern Pacific right of way at Union Gap Yakima county. The decision clears the route eastward for many miles and signals active construction. An Armour Packing Co representative said contracts for meat supply to contractors have been let and subs would be busy soon.
The Improvement Club met Wednesday night and two issues were debated. The first concerned the number and arrangement of trees in the new park and was referred to the Committee for decision with the town Council. The second asked the town council to install fluming next month to bring water to lots in the First and Second Additions as provided by the Improvement District No 1 ordinance. Two Councilmen attended and pledged favorable attention at the next meeting.
