Roy Shinn Dies in Walla Walla Power Plant Accident
Roy Shinn former resident and chief engineer at Pacific Power and Light Co. died last Thursday night from electrocution while repairing an oil switch at the Walla Walla plant. He is survived by his wife parents and brother J E Shinn now living in North Yakima. Burial was arranged for Junction City, Oregon.

A Kennewick Fruit Exchange committee selects a three color label featuring Kennewick across the top, two large K's at ends, and a blue circle with K centered below. The circle carries the motto Center of the Early Fruit Belt, with fruit imagery. The label will be used on first grade crates and stamped on berry hallocks. Thieves stole a wagon load of groceries cigars candy and gum valued around 100 dollars, entering through a rear window and resealing the pane.
