Yakima Project Units Outline Major Reclamation Plan
Dr Henry of the U S Reclamation Service outlines the Yakima Project as the largest planned thus far with about 350 000 acres to be reclaimed in Washington and Oregon. Units include Tieton Sunnyside Wapato and Kittitas Benton with storage from Keechelus Kaches Clealum Naches and Bumping lakes and funds pending Interior approval.

Milwaukee Road to Cross Columbia at Priest Rapids
A Ellensburg dispatch reports the Milwaukee road will cross the Columbia river at Priest Rapids with the full route across the state to be announced soon. A five member Milwaukee board with contractor Henry left to approve plans and close deals on the Priest Rapids segment. At Spokane fair, poultry displays in a 50 by 100 foot tent will open Sept 24 with 500 birds shown and lighting provided for night viewing.

School seeks voter approval to issue bonds for heating and furnishings
The school board calls a special election for Saturday September 8 to authorize borrowing 4000 dollars to install a heating and ventilating plant buy furniture and free text books. Officials say funds are available and the building should be ready by October 1 with polls open from 1 to 7 PM.
Benton County Fair Prosser Ticket Fare Notice
At Prosser Washington for the Benton County Fair on September 13 14 and 16 the Northern Pacific Bay will sell round trip tickets at one and one third fare 155 for the trip Return tickets valid September 16 agent C W Wiegel or his deputy sells tickets and marks return eligibility.
