Dispatches report 73 shocks in Acapulco since Friday with the city in ruins and famine feared for inhabitants. A tidal wave at harbor sank ships and lives were lost. Chilpancingo also nearly leveled, as the Saturday quake rendered all buildings uninhabitable.
