Columbia Dredging Near The Dalles Completed
Wake field and Jacobsen completed dredging the Three-Mile rapids clearing the Columbia channel near The Dalles Oregon. The project cost about 100000 dollars and took several years due to seasonal water limits as the dredge moved to The Dalles for mooring. The river is now clear to the Big Eddy where it meets the Portage Road.
