The quiet home of the senior editor of THR Sun and his wife was invaded by a party of about eighteen city residents yesterday around 4:30 pm. Guests arrived unannounced, brought baskets for supper, and the evening passed pleasantly with the editors reportedly accepting the surprise with good humor.
Local notices advertise Beckman’s line of umbrella hats for women praised as top quality and latest colors. H C Cunningham promotes Foley’s Honey and Tar for coughs. Mountain Tea priced at 34 cents promises energizing effects.
