The Democratic county convention met at Albion and named a full county ticket led by Representative N P Eagles and Sheriff Patrick Summers. Key actions included waterworks stand pipe plan, ordinance on incandescent lighting, sidewalks on Mitchell street, Oak street sewer, and school board election of D H Drake. Council adjourned after approving bills.
The Logansport Journal reports the first five cars of the Logansport, Rochester and Northern Traction Company will arrive at Logansport by today or Monday. The cars, known as ten benchers and bearing L A and N letters, will be unloaded at Fifth street foot. Pole work for trolley wires is underway and operation is expected by July 1 pending consent. Pay for the road’s workers, between three and four thousand dollars, was distributed on Monday.
Miss Pearl Haas of this city marries Harry Boyer of Chicago at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Frank on East Diamond Street. Rev. M. J. Magor pronounces the ceremony. The bride, daughter of Rev.
