At Tuesday's council meeting an Elkhart firm bid accepted for six thousand dollars to purchase lot 1 and adjacent land in Mitchell's addition for the new city building. Lucy A. Roberts offered to transfer the property with warranty deed. The purchase closes the lot at the northwest corner of Main and Rush streets.
