Tests Begin at T and C Power Plant
The first in a series of tests was conducted last evening at the T and C Power House. Attractive illumination was noted as work continues on the final stretch of track between here and Avilla. Lake Shore side tracks carried four cars loaded with graders for the Toledo and Chicago Interurban project, speeding completion. The last mile north of Avilla began this morning with forty men transferred to the scene.

Cash Pay Checks for Gravel Gang At Campbell & Fetter Bank
Mike Lasacco known as the Interpreter of the Gravel Gang leads a 37 man crew of Italians employed at Corunna to cash pay checks at Campbell & Fetter's bank. Steamboat Quincy Collision Near Trempealeau Strikes Fatal Blow
Nearly all of about 200 passengers on the steamer Quincy escaped death when the vessel struck a bank in the dark near Trempealeau Wisconsin, turned over, and caught fire. Only one life is known to be lost, a babe, with no communication from the scene about others.
