Ardmore Residents Seek Clues In Murder Report
Four deputy marshals rushed to Springer after a telephone alert about two women and a man murdered near Ceddo bridge on the Springer road. The victims’ party led by Mr and Mrs Eugene Iddings and niece Miss Bessie Kirkard had been traveling from Rawlin to southern Kansas and Oklahoma. Local friends hope a later letter will confirm they are safe.

A Lake Shore east bound freight train No. 72 wrecked between Wawaka and Brimfield this morning. Passengers on the 10:58 and 12:40 trains were transferred at Brimfield. The breaking of the incident disrupted service as crews worked to clear the line.
