Laura Mytten Dead After Surgical Operation
Laura Mytten died at the Des Moines district hospital on Wednesday from complications following surgery. The body was brought to Kellogg yesterday evening and the funeral will be held this afternoon at the home of her sister Mrs Elmer Braley in Council Proceedings. The council met Monday evening with Mayor Powers and trustees present. Bills were approved for paving bricks and crossings. Assessor F M Phillips moved away. T W Birchard appointed to fill vacancy. October gas lighting cost $157.25 with $125.00 gas receipts. lighting deemed near self sustaining. Adjourned to December.
