Shot in fight over dice game at Negro social club
R Carroll a 37 year old Negro man was shot and fatally wounded during an argument over a craps game in a rear room of a Negro social club on Twentieth street and Penaway drive. The dispute escalated when Carroll wounded Hazelridge with a knife. Pacey brother in law of Hazelridge produced a revolver and fired twice, striking Carroll over the temple and in the chest. Pacey was arrested nearby.
