Decoration Day on Saturday May 20 will see two Weaver Floral Co. deliveries to Highland Cemetery from 11 A M to 4 P M. Advance orders enjoy special prices on potted plants roses wreaths immortelle leaves and carnations. The Kansas City florist warns no flowers will be sold at the end of the car line or cemetery and urges early orders.
The Harris Printing Company reports samples of up to date commencement programs and invitations. Since local papers no longer stock this stationery, requests for orders should be placed early to ensure prompt production. They offer to send samples and invite teachers to review the assortment.
The Progress Study Club ladies hosted a Friday evening feast at the studio that proved a complete surprise and reflects much credit on the managers involved.
