Two Prominent Women Die in Kansas City
Mrs. Amelia Gibbs of 2518 Michigan avenue dies at 6 AM after a recent paralytic stroke. A longtime Allen Chapel member and Carni tien Court H of J member, she left a son Roy Gibbs and was married to Edward Gibbs, a famed barber. Shortly after, Mrs. Amanda Naview, near Gibbs’s home, dies in her sleep with family in Chicago. Naview, age 1 years, left a husband and eight children, and was a longtime Allen Chapel stewardess. Both funerals were held at Allen Chapel with Rev. Wm. H. Thomas officiating. Gibbs buried in Woodlawn Cemetery Kansas City Kansas.

Musical director leads Westminster program in Kansas City
