Sudden Death of Prof W B Perkins in Glasgow Missouri
Prof W B Perkins principal of Evans Public School died after a fall of dizziness and blindness Friday afternoon. He was not in good health but served at his duties before being stricken, dying about three hours later at the Old City hospital. He was master of the Masonic Lodge and brother of Prof B W Perkins of Macon and Prof Frank Perkins of Hamilton. His funeral will be in Glasgow. He leaves a widow who lived at 1219 East Eighteenth Street. A bullet pierced Walker's abdomen, and he died at the Old City hospital less than an hour after the injury.

Murder and self-inflicted death in Idaho case at 1616 East Third
A white man from Pocatello, Homer J. Martin, killed Annabel Elbert a Negro woman at 1616 East Third Street then shot himself. Investigators found a telegram and $56 plus items implying he was a railroad brakeman. Neighbors say Elbert feared Martin due to his hostility toward Black people. she had moved from Leavenworth to Kansas City, and he traveled 1,400 miles to confront her.
