President Will Review Five Houston Idiers Case
Washington Feb 27 An indefinite respite is granted five Negro soldiers of the 24th Infantry sentenced by court martial to be hanged for participation in the Houston riots. The President will suspend action until he receives the court martial record for thirty other regiment members now on trial at San Antonio. Thirteen rioters have already been hanged and many are serving heavy terms.
