Actor Tom Brown died in Chicago after a long illness from stomach cancer. A 63 year old native of Indianapolis, he was Dean of Theatrical Performers and a leading member of the Lafayette Stock Company. He had married Susie Sutton recently and had spent over forty years on stage worldwide.

The Pilackburn's Union D and has been engaged by the Park Board to furnish music at Garrison Square and the Paseo during the summer.
