Grand Lodge Banquet Honors St. Louis Mason Grand Master
A large August banquet at St. John's chapel Jefferson City honored Grand Master Crews and Grand Master Caston of the UVBFF and 8 M T Missouri. Alex Slater hosted with a broad menu as 26 Grand Lodge officers and members attended from Missouri and Kansas. A resolution praised Slater for his hospitality and public service as the group sang farewell.

Observations From the Grand Lodge of Masons
The Grand Master received a full ovation as the brethren praised his work. The Lodge of Sorrow surpassed expectations with moving ceremonies. Kansas City Knights Templar performed with brilliance and devotion to camp duties. Ladies attended in the hall, not the lodge. Crittenden Clark shifted from a paying job to honor, while Old Guard leaders stayed on the firing line. Frank Brown of St. Louis delivered stirring orations and remains a respected Mason. Next year Kansas City will host the gathering for a likely semicentennial Missouri Masonry celebration chaired by Wilila G. Moseley.

Camp Craft, a six month project for the boys department, sits on a hill four miles from Linwood Kansas along the U. P. line. It fronts Hugene Graves’s farm where campers, led by a director, travel in a farm wagon for supplies and describe hikes from Bonner Springs. Tents are numbered with each unit forming an avenue as they care for camp life and deportment.

Grand Lodge Sessions Open in Omaha with Over 600 Delegates
The Right Worthy Grand Temple of Missouri and jurisdiction opened its 32d annual session in Omaha Nebraska with more than 600 delegates. Grand Princess Ida L Garnett delivered a rich annual message, praising work at the National Grand Temple and the meeting heard greetings from sisters and other officials. Over 1 000 delegates from Missouri Kansas and Nebraska attend and a public joint session drew a full house with hundreds turned away. The mayor welcomed the group praising its foundation and urged continued civic partnership. The sessions run through Saturday with estimates of at least 10 000 spent locally. A large contingent from Kansas City St Joseph and other cities participated in a grand gathering of the United Brothers and Sisters of Friendship and the Mysterious Ten of Missouri.
