Play A Noble Outcast Shines At Auditorium
Seven hundred eighteen dollars in tickets were sold for the play A Noble Outcast presented by R. W. Foster Chapter No. 36 at the Auditorium theatre Monday evening. Matron Mary Strickland and the able team deserve praise for the ambitious effort. J. Howard Clark starred with strong, witty performance while Julia Morrison and Ethel Cave drew applause for makeup and emotion. Louis Cave as the hero and Charles Allen as the villain earned steady audience reactions. Carrie Watkins won first prize for ticket sales, with Abram awarded second. Western University orchestra provided fine music.

Florence McClain stars as the leading lady in Hello 1919 with a lavish wardrobe and a Chicago run behind it. The Jungle Dramas series follows adventures in interior Africa showing dangers from lions tigers and alligators while offering education about African wildlife. The Mack Orchard drama opens the series with a Wednesday show at the Lincoln Theatre on April 14 and continues weekly.
