Veteran Santa Fe porter dies in Topeka funeral
Matt J. Feaulker, longtime resident, died of double pneumonia at Santa Fe hospital in Topeka, Kansas and was buried in Eu dora, Kansas on April 1. Train porters from Kansas City attended in a body. Local attendees included Micasre, Cary Fox, John Collins, James Collins, J. C. Ray, 8, Abernathy and son, and White.

New Army Chaplain Collins Assigned to Norfolk Area
Recently appointed Chaplain in the United States Army now stationed at New port News, Virginia with the 909th Battalion. Collins was born in Kansas City in May 1884 and educated in local schools and Fisk University. He earned a Bachelor Divinity from Wilberforce in 1911 and served AME churches in North Yakima and Hutchinson before entering the Army. He has helped block black laws in Washington and preached in white churches there. He married Amelia Davis in 1916, a former Lincoln High School teacher.

Death of Mrs. Mary Fuell Rollins March 1918
Mrs Mary Fuell Rollins died March 27 1918 after tuberculosis illness. Funeral services were held Easter Sunday at H B Moore chapel. She was sister to Melissa Fuell Cather of the Blind Boone Concert Company. She leaves two sisters a brother a mother and three children Edfide Katherine and Richard Rollins.
