Pasadena reports say Don Metz and rescue crews cut into a 14 inch pipe at 75 feet to reach Kathy Fiscus, believed alive earlier, with warm air pumped into the abandoned well and soundings planned to locate her. The 230 foot deep well held a 15 year old cousin’s warning cry that brought the mother and family to the scene as hopes wavered.
