Col. L. L. Polk died last Saturday at 11 15 a m at Garfield Hospital after a period of bladder trouble and uremia poisoning. He was president of the Fathers Alliance and a noted abascienes leader, admired by many who will remember him as a true and loving man who wore the gray and faced controversy with honesty. Polk has gone to his reward.
