Small Fish Hatchery to be Built Here Urgently

The county eyeing a fish hatchery urges immediate action to fund and construct ponds by December. Highway officials visit Junction amid road work bids

State Highway Commissioner D. K. Martin Ex Senator J. J. Strickland of San Antonio and ex Highway Engineer Roland J. Windrow toured Junction. Second Week of Kimble County District Court Draws Mixed Verdicts

Jurors in Loeffler and Bishop cases failed to reach a verdict after long deliberations. The Loeffler jury reported impossibility of agreement and was discharged. the Bishop jury also advised disagreement and was discharged. Several civil cases were postponed to February term. Grand jury reported and was discharged. A sentence of one year for unlawful liquor transport was imposed on Jim Turman, with bond set for appeal.
