The Junction Public School opened Monday morning in the Schreiner High School auditorium with a program led by Rev. J Virgil Davis and featuring songs by the primary grades. Inspirational talks by Coke R Stevenson Weaver H Baker and A G Farmer followed. Enrollment reaches about 265 across high and graded levels with all PT A members urged to attend Friday meeting.

District Court Adjourns After Term Dockets Cleared
District Court adjourned Tuesday disposing of forty six cases of sixty nine on the term docket. Twenty three were continued. The entire criminal docket moved to next term, sixteen cases in the criminal docket. Grand Jury met eight days and returned thirty two indictments nine felony twenty three misdemeanors with twenty misdemeanors transferred to Justice Court. Final Grand Jury report appears elsewhere. Mr N C Patterson showed three unusually large pears weighing two and one quarter pounds on display at the office. Loeffler Motor Co. reports a new Ford touring car at the garage attracting attention for its differences from the old model.
