Recent Rains Insure Splendid Fall Range
Rainfall across the county and much of Southwest Texas totaled 1 to 2 inches, aiding late crops and boosting fall and winter range. Cotton picking slowed slightly but benefits outweighed losses. Dusty roads hindered travel during the downpour, then Sanford Roe mobilized crews to repair highways, leaving roads in excellent condition.
