L C Warren of the Menard Messenger spent a few hours in Junction, impressed by the town and its scenic country, hoping for a return visit soon. The piece lampoons fashion debates on skirts using rolling window-curtain imagery, and lightly riffs on Dan Moody's gubernatorial bid, praising Moody's record as attorney general and predicting a contentious Texas campaign ahead.
