The Production and Marketing Administration notes mixed market moves across the Southwest with corn and milo rising and tomato shipments in East Texas selling slowly. Prices showed easing in Denver while New Orleans held steady and dairy and livestock values shifted across regions.
At Fort Worth and Oklahoma City prices ranged from 21 to 24.50 dollars for butchers. Butcher hogs stayed steady at Oklahoma City but fell 25 to 50 cents elsewhere in the region. Sows traded 50 cents to 1.50 lower and feeder pigs declined in San Antonio. Late highs reached 24.50 in San Antonio and Fort Worth, 24.75 in Oklahoma City and Wichita, and 26 in Denver.
Walter Leamons leads the London Church of Christ with Bible study Sunday at 10 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. worship. Young Peoples class at 6:45 p.m. and Friday Bible study at 7:30 p.m. Services occur first and third Mondays 8 p.m. and communion each Sunday. preaching on second and fourth Sundays at 2:30 p.m. Ladies class Tuesday 4 p.m. Evening preaching 11 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. all are welcome.
