Baygent Coaches Begins Daily Service From Junction Texas
Baygent Coaches owned by R E Baygent of Marfa Texas started daily bus service June 8 from Junction to Llano Menard Del Rio Rock Springs Uvalde and Sabinas after purchasing the Eagle Pass Bus Line. Junction remains the division point for lines out of the city and four families will relocate here with E Whan serving as superintendent. The depot is at the City Cafe.

Supervised Playground Program Announced By Local Officials
Bob Short oversees a school and community sponsored supervised playground program with support from the Chamber of Commerce Rotary Club and Lions Club. The gym schedule includes girls 8 30 to 11 and boys 2 30 to 5 with 5 to 6 reserved for high school workers. Activities feature tennis volleyball softball table tennis boxing and basketball. REA Lines Energized In London Ivy Areas
Thirty miles of REA lines were energized in the London and Ivy communities over the weekend with more lines to be energized later this week. Chester Kirk, Kimble Cooperative manager, said work in Copperas is set to begin next week. About 235 miles now serve Kimble homes. 65 of 165 miles remain on the current contract after Taylor Construction began May 5.

McKavett Man Wreck Victim Identified
Highway patrolman H. G. Palmer investigated a traffic accident near Fort Mc Kavett where 31 year old Thomas Carl Woolf of McKavett died Friday morning. Woolf died from head injuries after his stripped down 1929 Model A Ford struck a dirt shoulder and threw him from the vehicle. An unidentified Junction family reported the scene.
