Costume Party at Rembold Ranch Vivid 1849 Setting

The Rembold Ranch hosted a 49er costume party on a Friday evening for pioneer families and Segovia residents. Ten tables of "42" games, lanterns, hay bales, and a pioneer era mood graced the lawn with Kay Phillips on violin and Bill Bowers on guitar. Mrs. McCarty wore maternal great grandmother Wood's garments, and Mrs. Reinbold, now 77, has lived on the ranch since 1880. First place went to Mrs. W. H. Dunk and Gordon Hodges. About 50 attended with colonial refreshments and decor, and week-end visitors Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Tinsley joined from Junction.
