Cotton acreage fix moves through House Agriculture Committee
The January congressional session opens with efforts to correct the cotton acreage control law unfairness notably the 1946 47 ruling on war crop credit for Texas farmers. Two bills would credit war crops and allow surrender of allotments with no future loss, as the House committee considers minimum allotments and a 50 to 70 percent floor. Mrs J W McDaniel visits relatives in town.
