Veterans Urged To Protect Themselves
The Hoover Commission could abolish the Veterans Administration and cut veterans benefits and eligibility for hospitalization. In Kimble County about 150 veterans attend Distributive Education and Agriculture classes with training valued at roughly $20,000 monthly to local businesses. The American Legion urges veterans to join, pay $4 annual dues, and help stop the Hoover changes through organized membership.
