Shoe rationing limits set by OPA
The Office of Price Administration announces new shoe rationing for the week. Each person is entitled to three pairs per year with possible adjustments if family needs vary. Unused boots and leather shoes, rubber-soled shoes, work shoes, moccasins, and casual play shoes are covered, while slippers and infant soft-soled footwear are not rationed.

Kimble County Wild Life Federation Meets Saturday
The first quarterly meeting of the Kimble County Wild Life Federation will be held at the Kimble County courthouse Saturday evening February 13 at eight o'clock. Summer Water Rates Available on February 24
City Council votes to begin low water rates with meter readings around February 24 to aid drought relief. At least 200 customers must enroll with the city secretary before February 24 to activate the plan. The rate offers 25,000 gallons for $3.00 with excess water at 10 cents per thousand gallons.

Airplane Crash Kills Two on Parker Ranch
A Wal ter Parker ranch crash near Noxville killed Lt. Frank C. Robertson 23 of Valley Stream NY and Jack Draper of San Antonio. Both stationed at Goodfellow Field San Angelo, they were en route from Duncan Field San Antonio to San Angelo. Draper an electrical shop superintendent, hometown San Antonio, Brackenridge High alumnus. Robertson graduated from Ellington Field Houston in April.

Hill County firemen met in Mason for a two convention gathering. Rev. Lewis L. Wilkins delivered the welcome response. Attendees from Junction included John M.
