Official investigation finds gas line not cause of Medina disaster
Texas Railroad Commission Gas Utilities Division Director S C McIntosh led a probe into the January 27 explosion that killed Mrs E W Minear and Donnie Null. The study found no tank explosion or house fire and pointed to a sagged or loosened gas line under the house as the likely cause after a bulldozer blade damaged a water line in the trench. The tank remained uninvolved.
